Today I’ve been thinking about the privilege of writing anything from a book to a blog and then having someone take the time to read it. I am extremely honored that you are here reading this post. I am also honored when you take the time and extra effort to share one of my post on social media. I want to make you a promise.
My promise to you is that I will always give my best to this blog. I will pray, research and anything else that needs to be done in order to produce a quality reading experience.
My promise to you is that I will never take lightly the fact that you visit this site and do my best to provide an experience that will give you entertainment, knowledge, resources and leave you thinking about what I have said.
As you may have noticed, I have also began a podcast. Episode number 1 is up and it’s purpose was two fold. Number 1 to learn how to do it and number two to introduce myself to those who don’t know me. My podcast will provide information, entertainment and enrichment. Some of the podcast will be recorded sitting at my desk. Others will be outtakes from messages I preach in the pulpit God has given me.
As I write for the blog I know that it will not always be perfect. Sometime there will be typo’s that slip by and grammatical errors that I didn’t catch. It’s not because I’m being sloppy and don’t care. Should I use and editor? One of my favorite bloggers is Michael Hyatt. He is the former CEO of Thomas Nelson Publishing. Surprisingly enough Michael’s advice is to not use an editor. Partly because a blog should be naturally yours even with mistakes and secondly because to do regular postings there just isn’t time to run everything through another person.
Having said that, I promise to you my best.
Thank you for being a part of my writing experience. I hope that it will always be a positive experience for you.
