I Remember When I Was 9.

Honestly I don’t remember much about being 9 years old.   I don’t have any really specific memories that I can connect to being nine, except one. I remember sitting in our small living room floor in front of our console television set watching men land on earth’s moon for the very first time.

I remember when Neil Armstrong bounded off the steps of the lunar module onto the moons surface. I remember his words, “That’s one small step for man, one giant

Armstrong  took the trip of a lifetime and more and did something that no one had ever done before. He inspired generations to believe that they can accomplish anything. He created a memory for me that will stay with me for the rest of my life.  Neil Armstrong died today at the age of 82.
