This morning after doing my daily Bible reading I did what I always do. I opened my RSS reader. Over one hundred articles that were competing greeted me for my attention. I do what I assume most do, I scanned the titles of each site. If a title looked intriguing I opened it and began to read.

What I have noticed about myself is that I am an impatient reader. I read fast and I do a lot of scanning. If I’m reading something that doesn’t grab me right away, I leave it.  I wonder what I’m missing because of my lack of patients. Did I quit a book too soon? Would I have gained valuable information had I stayed with the article in my RSS reader?

What about you? Are you impatient? Are you an impatient reader?
